Ultrafiltration works by taking fluid from a process tank and circulating it through a membrane. The clean material is passed through the membrane and transported to a clean storage site. The dirty material is recirculated concentrating the dirty material until all the clean reusable water is removed. As the concentration builds, the process will slow unless more dirty liquid is added to replace the removed clean material.
