The Aurora Pump Division of Pentair Corporation wanted to minimize its waste stream in order to maintain the EPA's small waste generator classification."In addition to the advantage of decreased disposal costs, being classified a small waste generator requires less scrutiny from the Environmental Protection Agency," said Aurora Pump's Richard Gavril. "We needed a system that would treat our specific waste, which is machining coolant with tramp oils from various machine centers." |
